🌲 Hashtag Survival

▻ You can view the work-in-progress database at this link. (Database backstory: We had two Wordpress-based directories (around 160 games total) on the old website, but swapped to Substack and moved the directories into one major directory with a handful of sorted “views” on Notion.)
Backlog count= 56.
Recently onboarded from backlog to the live database: Escape the Pacific, The Infected, and Bromeliad. I’ve got 10-15 titles almost done and hope to push them out soon.

🧠Random Thoughts

• Black Friday hype! Perfect time of year to upgrade and acquire - but save a little cash. Working on an article for some gaming-themed accessories, but in the meantime don’t forget that subscription-based services do excellent deals for Black Friday. Video streaming (I have paid $1.07/month for Peacock since last Black Friday) but also software, phone apps, and more. It’s also an excellent time to refresh your pet’s gear on the cheap.

👍 Pick-up: Steam Autumn Sale runs Nov 21 - Nov 28, so gird your loins and your wallets. If you absolutely need a game to play today and don’t mind jumping outside of the survival genre, pick up Dying Light. The parkour is fun and the nights are terrifying.
