I was working on this post and fetching links from YT and somehow fell into a rabbit hole of videos from this woman. The nature shots/video are crazy inspiring for working on my action camera - especially since I couldn’t do anything else she could do.

🏕️ Hashtag Survival Catchup

📝 You can view the work-in-progress game database at this link. It’s going well! I tweaked the page layout for the individual pages, so I had to go back through and adjust the layout for published pages. I also added a new View - a new tab- of games I suggest you avoid purchasing.

💻 I can see that organizing the channels for the Discord subscription tiers will take time to dial in, which I like. I’ve got some ideas for it that I hope to flesh out this weekend. Right now, it’s identifying the content that can be posted there versus content better served being fleshed out in a Substack post. But I enjoy getting targeted feedback from folks, even on something as small as the details for the roles.

🏕️ Hashtag Survival: Upcoming

I’ve got two small articles I’d like to push out this week- both are “tips” style articles aimed generally at the survival genre and indie games. I think I need to snag a bit of video/recording and some images, and then I can get cracking on them.

I’m still working on editing the audio from Season 1 of the podcast to post to YT and plowing through a course on OBS recording to see if this 60-second video idea I have will hold water. I also have an idea for future title spotlights. (Breakdowns? Summaries? I haven’t picked a word yet.)

Mostly, I’m observing and taking notes from the SurvivalGaming subreddit- getting a feel for the help and questions that are most common- and what will be beneficial to folks. Yanno, beyond the 500th recommendation of Valheim, or playthrough of Subnautica.

I’ll flash some early peeks at everything as I progress- to the Ramble and the locked Discord channel.

🎵 Music:

‌➡️ Most Used: Fiverr. It’s such a fantastic resource for a lot of stuff. I’ve gotten opening and closing clips for videos, logos, emojis- all the things and have been hitting them up lately to get some emojis lined up for the Unicorn Brigade.

‌📚 Fun Consumption: Well, it’s both fun and not fun, but I'm working through action camera videos (like this one) to get the hang of things.

‌🎮 Game: Been feeling kinda shitty this weekend, so I spent some time dicking around in Arceus. For some reason, Pokemon games are perfect when you’re feeling sick. It’s like binging Law and Order SVU. 🤔
