I’m trying to pick the MOST OPTIMAL weekend for us to try and get out of state for a night. So far, the major roadblock has been that the two weekends in question seem to be full of RAIN, which I was somewhat trying to avoid. I want to cram in as much sightseeing as possible- and while a rainy day may mean fewer tourists, it also lessens the probability that Becca will leave the hotel room and slog through rain & mud with me.
Right now, it looks like I can chance it for this weekend, with a variety of fall-themed events and one day entirely dedicated to rain, or I can roll the dice on next week’s forecast shaping up to something a little less soggy.
Choices, choices.

🏕️ Hashtag Survival Catchup
📝 So, I mentioned last time that I was scrapping the old WordPress game directory that Hashtag used to utilize. We’ve had it a long time! This is a huge work in progress, but I’m considering using Notion to house the database with slightly different filters and notes. You can view the work-in-progress database at this link.
Remember that each game card is incomplete unless the card face says Page Status: Complete. I’m the furthest along on the dead/abandoned games, but I hope to finish the other stuff soon. Feedback is incredibly welcome, so hop into the comments or contact me on Discord.

⌛ Tribe: Primitive Builder is pairing with a variety of games to provide game packages for their release on October 12th. Your best bet is snagging the game bundled with Survival: Fountain of Youth and avoiding the one boxed with Devil’s Island.
📅 Upcoming
🔮 Infection Free Zone will be deactivating the demo and releasing a Prologue on October 19th- I recommend checking it out. Smalland is shifting to a 1.0 release on December 7th- it’ll also be released to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Undying moves into 1.0 on October 17th.

📚 Fun Consumption: I just started this book, and it seems like it’s going to be an adventure! “In a matter of weeks, Massachusetts has been overrun by an insidious rabies-like virus that is spread by saliva. But unlike rabies, the disease has a terrifyingly short incubation period of an hour or less. Those infected quickly lose their minds and are driven to bite and infect as many others as they can before they inevitably succumb.”

We have a saying in Sweden that goes: "There is no such thing as bad weather, there is only poor choice in suitable clothing" (roughly translated, sounds better in Swedish)
We have full on autumn here, all the leaves have turned and the temperature is dropping fast. We already have below freezing during nights (32 degrees Fahrenheit and lower)
It won't be long now until the leaves fall, and in the words of Game of Thrones "Winter is coming"
