Titan is the most handsome dork in all the land.
I briefly touched on APPLE-ITIS and the new iPhones in the latest Ramble- full disclosure. Lately, mine has been used to take many, many cat photos. But I will most definitely be taking pictures of non-cat stuff shortly.
No, it’s not an endless photo array of pumpkin spice-flavored coffees- I don’t drink that shit. Wait, is it weird that I don’t drink hot/warm things??
Anyway- it’s proper fall now, bitches. Time to take pictures of all.the.leaves.
PS These aren’t 2023 leaves; I took this 12 years ago. I’m just illustrating what LEAVES LOOK LIKE.

🏕️ Hashtag Survival Catchup
📝 Doing a complete 180-degree pivot on our version of the game directory. Our previous game directory was alive for roughly two years, and I liked the latest incarnation of it. But it's time to change it up! I’m focusing on working with Becca to create a Notion-hosted database, incorporating our Hashtag Survival filters (Survival Subgenre, Survival Pillars), and scaling down the amount of info and tags.
This will make for a cleaner database, requiring less effort and time on my part to maintain- which means it will remain up to date! (Or at least a closer approximation!)
I also really love Notion.
The last Rambles newsletter featured a video snippet of the new database in action, but here’s a truly terrible-quality screenshot/still of the video the Ramblers received.

⌛ Happy one-month anniversary, Sunkenland! Digging this detailed roadmap from HumanitZ- they’re aiming to include everything. Love Forever Skies? Did you know they onboard new shit to the beta branch before it goes live? Now ya know. The Kickstarter campaign for Endzone 2 is still up! Interestingly, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will be released first as an Epic Game Store exclusive. Wildmender is now live on Steam- on sale until October 5th. I like this fancy new trailer from Derelicts.
SCUM is doing the work of the gods!
📅 Upcoming
🔮 The next Steam Next Fest is October 9th-16th. Clear your schedule because we are about to be slammed with demos- and most of them can only be accessed during Next Fest.
Smalland is shifting to a 1.0 release on December 7th- it’ll also be released to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Undying moves into 1.0 on October 17th.
💙 Diversions
🎵 Music: I’m really REALLY bummed I didn’t chuck everything and see ODESZA when they were (relatively) nearby. Lesson learned: I am going the next time they are remotely within driving distance. Is anyone else in?

📚 Fun Consumption: I never make it a habit to follow 99.999999% of influencers and creators on any platform. Lately, though, I’ve enjoyed the posts by an IG creator named Alauna Roby. It’s a really enjoyable and down-to-earth video snippet journey of her life. Check it out if you’re an IG user!
🎮 Game: I’m still knee-deep in SCUM and World of Warcraft. We’re actually even talking about reforming up a raid team for Normal mode one-day raids. It’s been a while since I raided!
